INSEPCTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK MULTI-DISPLAY SWITCH

(a) Check switch operation.

(1) Using your hand, open and close the multi-display door. Check that the open and close mechanism is free from foreign matter.

(2) Press the multi-display door's OPEN / CLOSE switch several times. Check that the switch operation is normal.

(3) Turn the ignition switch from OFF to ON, and check that the multi-display door's OPEN / CLOSE switch operation is normal.

(4) Using your hand, close the multi-display door. Then check that the multi-display door's OPEN / CLOSE switch operation is normal.

OK:

Function returns to normal.

NG -- NORMAL
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK OPERATION OF MULTI-DISPLAY SWITCH

(a) After replacing the multi-display junction block with a normal one, check that the panel switch operates normally.

OK:

Panel switch operation returns to normal.

NG -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART

OK -- END
