DESCRIPTION

The navigation ECU receives the vehicle speed signal and GPS antenna information, and then adjusts the vehicle position on the display.

INSEPCTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (COMBINATION METER - NAVIGATION ECU)

(a) Disconnect the N3 ECU connector.





(b) Disconnect the C8 meter connector.

(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (+S VOLTAGE)

(a) Move the shift lever to N.





(b) Jack up either of the rear wheels.

(c) Measure the voltage of the meter connector.

Standard:





NG -- GO TO COMBINATION METER SYSTEM

OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
