DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when signals from the disc in the radio receiver assembly cannot be read.





INSEPCTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
After replacing the radio receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, registration of the XM radio ID is necessary.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DISC

(a) Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked.





OK:

No deformation or cracks on the disc

NG -- CHANGE DISC
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. DISC CLEANING

(a) Disc cleaning





(1) If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction.

NOTICE:
Do not use a conventional record cleaner or anti-static preservative.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK

(a) Replace the disc with another and recheck.

(b) Clear the DTC Audio and Visual System (w/ Navigation System for HDD).

(c) Recheck for DTC and check if the same trouble occurs again.

OK:

No DTC is output.

NG -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Service and Repair

OK -- END
