B15D0 - MOST Communication Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
This DTC is stored when the MOST network cannot be established after the master unit is activated.
HINT
* For the MOST network, the display and navigation module display is the master unit.
* Errors may occur in MOST communication between devices due to problems such as electrical noise.

INSEPCTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
After replacing the radio receiver assembly of vehicles subscribed to pay-type satellite radio broadcasts, registration of the XM radio ID is necessary.
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM MOST LINE CHECK
(a) Display the "MOST Line Check" screen Navigation System (for HDD).
(b) Check the result on the "MOST Line Check" screen.

* When "NCON" is displayed for more than 1 item, proceed to the step for the device that has the smallest node position number.
* The "MOST Line Check" screen can be displayed only when DTC B15D0 is stored.

2. CHECK MOST COMMUNICATION CONNECTOR
(a) Check MOST communication line connector.
(1) Check if a MOST communication line connector between the display and navigation module display and radio receiver has any connection problems How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.
(b) Display the "MOST Line Check" screen and check the result Navigation System (for HDD).
Result
HINT
When the malfunction in the MOST network is repaired, the screen cannot be changed to the "MOST Line Check" screen.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WAKE UP SIGNAL)
(a) Disconnect the R19 radio receiver assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER)
(a) Disconnect the R19 radio receiver assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the S35 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY Removal
5. CHECK MOST COMMUNICATION CONNECTOR
(a) Check MOST communication line connector.
(1) Check if a MOST communication line connector between the radio receiver and stereo component amplifier assembly has any connection problems How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.
(b) Display the "MOST Line Check" screen and check the result Navigation System (for HDD).

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

OK -- REPLACE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE DISPLAY Removal
8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE - RADIO RECEIVER)
(a) Disconnect the D26 display and navigation module display connector.
(b) Disconnect the R19 radio receiver assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER)
(a) Disconnect the R19 radio receiver assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the S35 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
10. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER - DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION MODULE)
(a) Disconnect the S35 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
(b) Disconnect the D26 display and navigation module display connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
11. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTCs Navigation System (for HDD).
(b) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK:
No DTCs are output.
