Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

WIPER AND WASHER: WIPER AND WASHER SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the tester on.

(d) Enter the following menus:

(1) Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Trouble Codes /

(e) Read the DTCs.

2. CLEAR DTC

(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(c) Turn the tester on.

(d) Enter the following menus:

(1) Techstream - Select: Body Electrical / (desired system) / Trouble Codes /

(e) Erase the DTCs.
