Reassembly

EXTERIOR: FRONT BUMPER: REASSEMBLY

HINT
When installing the pad, heat the front bumper using a heat light.

Standard:





NOTICE:
Do not heat the front bumper excessively.

1. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD LH (for AWD)

(a) When using a new front bumper cover:

(1) Clean the front bumper cover surface.

(2) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.

(b) When reusing the front bumper cover:

(1) Using a heat light, heat the front bumper cover surface.

(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper cover.

(3) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(c) Install a new front bumper pad as shown in the illustration.





2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PAD RH (for AWD)

HINT
Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

3. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER LH (for Sport Package)

(a) Install the front bumper spoiler cover with the 6 retainers and 3 clips.

4. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER RH (for Sport Package)

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER LOWER COVER

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the front bumper lower cover.

6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET

(a) Install the front bumper extension mounting bracket with the 2 screws.

7. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE

(a) Attach the 16 claws to install the lower No. 1 radiator grille.

8. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER LH

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the fog light cover.

9. INSTALL FOG LIGHT COVER RH

17. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor retainer Installation.

18. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Install the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor retainer Installation.

19. INSTALL NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Install the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor Installation.

20. INSTALL NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Install the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor Installation.

21. INSTALL NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

(a) Clean the front bumper surface.

(1) Remove the double-sided tape from the front bumper surface.

(2) Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

(b) Connect the 6 connectors to install the No. 4 engine room wire as shown in the illustration.

(c) Attach the 5 clamps and install 5 new pieces of tape.
