Removal





AUDIO / VISUAL: REAR DOOR SPEAKER (for Standard Body): REMOVAL

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal

2. DISCONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System (for HDD):
* After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (HDD navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Testing and Inspection.
3. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG LH Removal

4. REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

6. REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear Door Sunshade) Removal

7. REMOVE REAR NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the speaker connector.

(b) Remove the 2 screws.

(c) Detach the clip and remove the speaker.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.





8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 19 Speakers)





(a) Disconnect the speaker connector.

(b) Remove the 3 screws.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.

9. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for 19 Speakers)





(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Detach the clamp, and remove the 2 screws and speaker.

NOTICE:
Do not touch the cone part of the speaker.
