LIGHTING (EXT): AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR

(a) Disconnect the K1 automatic light control sensor connector.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

(c) If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





(e) If the result is not as specified, there is a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(f) Reconnect the K1 automatic light control sensor connector.

(g) Check the waveform of the K1 automatic light control sensor connector.





OK:





HINT
If the ambient light becomes brighter, width A becomes narrower.

(h) If the result is not as specified, the automatic light control sensor may have a malfunction.
