B2419 - BEAN Communication Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

The AFS ECU receives signals regarding lighting condition of the headlights, shift position signal of the transmission, engine condition from the generator and vehicle speed signal from the combination meter using multiplex communication.

When the DTC (B2419) is output, the other BEAN communication DTCs are also output at the same time.

(a) Use the Techstream to check if the Multiplex Communication System (MPX) is functioning normally.
