ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR: INSTALLATION

HINT
* Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
* The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
* A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart. Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts

1. INSTALL REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to sliding and rotating areas of the regulator motor.

(b) Using a T25 ''torx'' driver, install the motor with the 3 screws.

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

2. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding and rotating areas of the window regulator.

(b) Install the regulator with the 4 bolts.

Torque : 11.0 Nm (115 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)

(c) Connect the connector.

NOTICE:
Be careful not to drop the window regulator as it may become damaged.

3. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING FRONT

5. INSTALL REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL FRONT DOOR GLASS RUN

(a) Remove the glass run.

7. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY

NOTICE:
Be careful not to drop and deform the rear door window regulator.

(a) Install the rear door glass into the door panel.

HINT
* Insert a cloth inside the door panel to prevent the door glass from being scratched.
* Position the door glass toward the front as much as possible.

8. INSTALL REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS

(a) Install the quarter glass together with the quarter window glass weatherstrip in the direction indicated by the allow in the illustration.

(b) Install the quarter window glass weatherstrip.

9. INSTALL REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the division bar with the 2 bolts and screw.

10. INSTALL REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER

(a) Apply butyl tape to the door as shown in the illustration.

(b) Install the service hole cover to the door panel.

HINT
* When installing the service hole cover, pull out the links and connectors through the service hole cover.
* There should be no wrinkles or folds after attaching the service hole cover.
* After attaching the service hole cover, check the sealing quality.
(c) Install the 3 bolts with the armrest bracket.

11. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK DOOR ECU REAR

(a) Install the ECU with the 2 bolts.

(b) Connect the connector.

12. INSTALL REAR DOOR GLASS WEATHERSTRIP INNER

(a) Install the weatherstrip inner.

13. INSTALL REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH

(a) Install the garnish and 2 clips.

14. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM COVER

(a) Attach the 6 clips to install the trim cover.

(b) Install the screw.

15. INSTALL MULTIPLEX NETWORK SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the network switch with the 2 screws.

(b) Connect the connector.

16. INSTALL INTERIOR ILLUMINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY NO.1

(a) Attach the 2 claws and connect the connector to install the light.

17. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the inside handle with the 4 screws.

18. INSTALL REAR DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY

(a) Connect the 2 cables to the inside handle.

(b) Attach the 10 clips to install the trim panel.

19. INSTALL REAR DOOR COURTESY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Attach the 2 claws to install the courtesy light to the door trim panel.

(b) Attach the 4 claws to install the lens to the courtesy light.

20. INSTALL REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL PLUG

(a) Attach the 3 claws to install the bezel plug.

21. CONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

22. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

23. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
