Absorber Control Indicator Light Remains ON.

NOTICE:
When replacing the absorber control ECU, check the acceleration sensor assembly signal after replacement Adaptive Variable Suspension System.

HINT
* Start the inspection from step 2 when troubleshooting accordance with the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE.
* Check the condition of each related circuit connector before troubleshooting Electronic Circuit Inspection Procedure.
PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM TEST MODE

(a) Perform test mode Adaptive Variable Suspension System.

(b) Check if the test mode DTC C1787/87 is output

Result:





B -- REPAIR CIRCUIT INDICATED BY OUTPUT CODE
A -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check if the CAN communication system DTC is output Adaptive Variable Suspension System.

B -- REPAIR CIRCUIT INDICATED BY OUTPUT CODE
A -- Continue to next step.

3. INSPECT MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check if the multiplex communication system DTC is output Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

A -- Continue to next step.

4. INSPECT COMBINATION MERTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the combination meter assembly How To Proceed With Troubleshooting.

OK:

The combination meter assembly is normal.

C -- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

B -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
