How To Proceed With Troubleshooting





SUSPENSION CONTROL: ACTIVE STABILIZER SUSPENSION SYSTEM: HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING

HINT
Use these procedures to troubleshoot the active stabilizer suspension system.

1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

2. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE

Standard voltage:

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery before proceeding.

NEXT -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LARGE-SCALE MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN)

(a) Use Techstream to check if the multiplex communication system (MPX) is functioning normally.

4. CHECK COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Use Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

5. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Check for DTC Active Stabilizer Suspension System.

(b) Delete the DTC.

(c) Recheck the DTC.
