2GR-FSE EMISSION CONTROL: CANISTER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CANISTER

(a) Connect the air inlet line hose to the charcoal canister.

NOTICE:
* Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.
* After connecting, check that the vent hose and the valve are securely connected by pulling on them.
(b) Install the charcoal canister with the 2 spacers and 4 nuts.





Torque : 14.7 Nm (150 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)





(c) Connect the 2 quick connectors, hose and connector.

NOTICE:
* Check for damage or foreign objects on the connected part.
* After connecting, check that the vent hose and the valve are securely connected by pulling on them.
(d) Connect the wire harness with the 2 clamps.





2. INSTALL FLOOR UNDER COVER

(a) Install the floor under cover with the 5 nuts and 4 clips.





3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.

NOTICE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
