DOOR LOCK: FRONT DOOR LOCK: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check operation of the door lock motor.

OK:





(a) If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly

(b) Measure the resistance of the door lock position switch.

Standard resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly

(c) Measure the resistance of the door lock and unlock switch.

Standard resistance:









2. INSPECT FRONT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY RH





(a) Apply battery voltage to the door lock motor and check operation of the door lock motor.

OK:





(a) If the result is not as specified, replace the door lock motor assembly

(b) Measure the resistance of the door lock position switch.

Standard resistance:
