1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP

2. CRANK ENGINE FOR MORE THAN 10 SECONDS

3. INSPECT COMMUNICATION FUNCTION OF LARGE-SCALE MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (BEAN)*
(a) Using the Techstream, check if the Multiplex Communication System (MPX) is functioning normally Engine Immobilizer System.

4. CHECK FOR DTC*
(a) Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output Engine Immobilizer System.
(b) Delete the DTC.
(c) Recheck for DTCs. Based on the DTCs output above, try to force output of the same SFI system DTC or engine immobilizer system DTC by simulating the symptoms indicated by the DTC.
