P1572 - Improper Aiming of Radar Sensor Beam Axis

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when the scanning angle of the millimeter wave radar sensor is incorrect. This DTC is also output when the millimeter wave radar sensor beam axis is determined to be in an incorrect position.





HINT
If the beam axis deviates to the distance 4.0 to 6.0 m (13 to 20 ft), upper / lower side + / - 2° or more and / or the right / left side + / - 4° or more, this DTC is detected.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
When the millimeter wave radar sensor is replaced with a new one, adjustment of the radar sensor beam axis must be performed Adjustments.

PROCEDURE

1. ADJUST MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR

Refer to adjustment Adjustments.

HINT
It is necessary to make the ECM recognize specification information (whether the vehicle is equipped with the dynamic radar or not). If this procedure has not been carried out, this DTC may be output.

(a) Clear the DTC and then recheck for DTCs.

OK:

DTC is not output

NG -- REPLACE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR
