SUSPENSION: REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.

1. REMOVE WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 10 bolts and ornament.
2. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
(a) Remove the 5 nuts and wheel.
3. REMOVE REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the speed sensor from the rear axle carrier.
(b) Remove the nut.





(c) Using SST, disconnect the upper control arm from the axle carrier.
SST: 09628-00011
- Be careful not to damage the dust cover.
- Support the axle carrier.





(d) Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts, 2 washers and upper control arm.
