SUSPENSION: FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION ARM: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.





1. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Temporarily install the upper arm with the 2 bolts.
HINT: After stabilizing the suspension, tighten the bolts.

2. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING Installation
3. CONNECT STEERING KNUCKLE LH Installation
4. CONNECT FRONT SPEED SENSOR LH
(a) Install the speed sensor wire with the bolt.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)
5. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
(a) Install the wheel with the 5 nuts.
Torque: 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf)
6. STABILIZE SUSPENSION.
7. TIGHTEN FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING
Installation
8. TIGHTEN FRONT UPPER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the wheel with the 5 nuts.
Torque: 53 Nm (540 kgf-cm, 39 ft-lbf)
9. INSTALL WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the ornament with the 10 bolts.
Torque: 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf)
10. INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
(a) Inspect and adjust the front wheel alignment Front Wheel Alignment.
