Seat Belt Warning System (w/ Occupant Classification System)








SEAT BELT: SEAT BELT WARNING SYSTEM (w/ Occupant Classification System): TERMINALS OF ECU

TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK COMBINATION METER





(a) Disconnect the C8 meter connector.
(b) Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the C8 meter connector.
(d) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, the meter may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK FRONT PASSENGER SEAT BELT WARNING LIGHT





(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, the light may have a malfunction.

3. CHECK OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU









4. CHECK CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR









5. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU





(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





- If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction
