TIRE AND WHEEL: TIRE PRESSURE WARNING VALVE AND TRANSMITTER: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the 10 bolts and ornament.
2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
(a) Remove the 5 nuts and wheel.
3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
(a) Remove the 5 nuts and wheel.
4. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE WARNING VALVE AND TRANSMITTER
(a) Remove the cap and valve core, and release air from the tire.
(b) After ensuring that air is sufficiently released, remove the nut and washer holding the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter, and drop it inside the tire.





(c) Disengage the bead using the shoe of the tire remover.
NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter due to interference between the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter and tire bead.

(d) Remove the bead on the upper side.
(e) Take out the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter from the tire and remove the bead on the lower side.
HINT: Do not reuse the inner grommet.
