Luggage Room Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The luggage door courtesy switch illuminates when the luggage door is opened and turns off when the luggage door is closed.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (LUGGAGE ROOM LIGHT)
(a) Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and check that the luggage room light illuminates.

OK:
Luggage room light illuminates.
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT NO. 1 LUGGAGE ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the luggage room light.
(b) Apply battery voltage to the luggage room and check that the luggage room light illuminates.
OK:

NG -- REPLACE NO. 1 LUGGAGE ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LIGHT - ECU AND BATTERY)

(a) Disconnect the L20*1 or L21*2 light connector.
(b) Disconnect the L22*1 or L24*2 ECU connector.
HINT:
*1: LH
*2: RH
(c) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard voltage:
LH

(d) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
LH

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
