Front Side Marker Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The front light ECU receives the taillight switch information from the combination switch, and illuminates the front side marker light.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHT ASSEMBLY




(a) Remove the front side marker light.
(b) Apply battery voltage to the front side marker light connector and check that the front side marker light.
OK:






NG -- REPLACE FRONT SIDE MARKER LIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT RELAY (Marking: CRA)




(a) Remove the CRA relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the relay.
OK:






NG -- REPLACE RELAY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - BODY GROUND)




(a) Remove the front light ECU from the relay block.
(b) Using a service wire, connect the front light ECU terminal 15 (TAIL-RLY) of the engine room No. 2 relay block on the wire harness side and body ground.
(c) Check that the front side marker light illuminates.
OK:
Front side marker light illuminates.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
