Clearance Light Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The front light ECU receives turn signal switch information from the combination switch, and illuminates the clearance light.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (CLEARANCE LIGHT)
(a) Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the clearance light illuminates.

OK:
Clearance light illuminates.
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the clearance light.
(b) Apply battery to the clearance light connector and check that the clearance light illuminates.
OK:
NG -- REPLACE CLEARANCE LIGHT ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT RELAY ASSEMBLY (Marking: CRA)
(a) Remove the CRA relay from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the relay.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE RELAY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - BODY GROUND)
(a) Remove the front light ECU from the engine room No. 2 relay block.
(b) Using a service wire, connect the front light ECU terminal 15 (TAIL-RLY) of the engine room No. 2 relay block on the wire harness side and body ground.
(c) Check that the clearance light illuminates.
OK:
Clearance light illuminates.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
