LIGHTING: HIGH MOUNTED STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL CENTER STOP LIGHT ASSEMBLY
(a) Clean the vehicle body surface.
(1) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface.
(2) Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body.
(3) Wipe off stains with cleaner.
(4) Remove the double-sided tape from the center stop light.
(5) Wipe off stains with cleaner.
(b) Install the center stop light.




(1) Apply new double-sided tape to the center stop light as shown in the illustration.
(2) Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and center stop light.




(3) Install the center stop light with the 2 nuts.
2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER Reassembly
3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP
4. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
5. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
