AIR CONDITIONING: CONDENSER: INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
1. INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the bracket to the cooler condenser with the bolt.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(b) Insert the lower support on the lower side of the cooler condenser into the crossmember.
(c) Install the cooler condenser with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
(d) Install the radiator upper support to the upper part of the radiator with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf)
2. INSTALL COOLER REFRIGERANT LIQUID PIPE A
(a) Remove the vinyl tape attached to the pipe and condenser.
(b) Install a new O-ring to the liquid pipe.
(c) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the O-ring and pipe joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(d) Connect the liquid pipe to the cooler condenser with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf)
3. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
(a) Remove the vinyl tape attached to the hose and connecting part of the cooler condenser.
(b) Install a new O-ring to the discharge hose.
(c) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to the O-ring and hose joint.
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(d) Connect the discharge hose to the cooler condenser with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 47 in-lbf)
4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY Installation
5. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET Installation
6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
7. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
8. CHARGE REFRIGERANT Service and Repair
9. WARM UP ENGINE Service and Repair
10. CHECK FOR LEAKAGE OF REFRIGERANT Service and Repair
