Driver Side J/B Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The luggage compartment door opener switch signal is transmitted multiple times to the theft warning ECU from the driver side junction block. Then, when the theft warning ECU recognizes the main key, the luggage room junction block drives the luggage compartment door lock (luggage compartment door opener motor).

PROCEDURE
1. CHECK RETRACTABLE HARDTOP SYSTEM (RETRACTABLE HARDTOP FUNCTION)
(a) Check that the retractable hardtop operates properly.
OK:
Retractable hardtop operates properly.
NG -- CHECK RETRACTABLE HARDTOP SYSTEM
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
(a) Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the intelligent tester (with CAN VIM) to generate a control command, and then check that the luggage compartment door operates.
Luggage room junction block ECU
OK:
Door can be opened.
OK -- CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
NG -- Continue to next step.
3. READ VALUE USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
(a) Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the luggage compartment door opener switch.

OK:
"ON" appears on the screen.
NG -- GO TO LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SWITCH CIRCUIT
OK -- REPLACE DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
4. CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)
(a) Disconnect the D5 ECU connector.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard resistance:
(c) Reconnect the D5 ECU connector.
(d) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:
NG -- GO TO LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SWITCH CIRCUIT
OK -- GO TO LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CIRCUIT
