DOOR LOCK: TRANSMITTER BATTERY: REMOVAL

REMOVAL
NOTE:
Take extra care when handling these precision electronic components.





1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER
(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the screw.
(b) Push the cover with your finger as shown in the illustration so a gap appears. Then, pry out the cover using that gap.
NOTE:
Do not forcibly pry up the cover.

2. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER ASSEMBLY





3. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY
(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the 2 screws and cover.
(b) Remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery).
NOTICE:
- Do not push the terminals with your finger.
- Do not forcibly pry up the battery (lithium battery). The terminals may become damaged.
- Do not touch the battery with wet hands. Water may cause rust.
- Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter, as it may cease to work.
