Luggage Compartment Door Opening Main Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The luggage compartment door opener switch signal is transmitted multiple times to the theft warning ECU from the driver side junction block. Then, when the theft warning ECU recognizes the main key, the luggage room junction block drives the luggage door compartment lock (luggage compartment door opener motor).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENING MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY




(a) Measure the resistance of the switch.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENING MAIN SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MAIN SWITCH - JUNCTION BLOCK ECU AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the L2 switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the D5 ECU connector.




(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
