Luggage Compartment Door Lock Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The luggage compartment door opener switch signal is transmitted multiple times to the theft warning ECU from the driver's side junction block. Then, when the theft warning ECU recognizes the main key, the luggage room junction block drives the luggage compartment door lock (luggage compartment door opener motor).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MOTOR)




(a) Measure the resistance of the door lock.
Standard resistance:





(b) Based on the results of the ACTIVE TEST, inspect the malfunctioning luggage compartment door lock (luggage compartment door opener motor).
(1) Connect the positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the negative (-) lead to the body ground, and check that the luggage compartment door lock (luggage compartment door opener motor) is moving.
NG -- REPLACE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER MOTOR)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK - LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK)
(a) Disconnect the L19 lock connector.
(b) Disconnect the L22 ECU connector.




(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK
