Fuel Lid Opener Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The circuit opens the fuel lid when the ECU sends signals to the fuel lid opening switch.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (FUEL LID OPENING SWITCH)
(a) Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the fuel lid opening switch.

Body No.2

OK:
"ON" (fuel lid opening switch is pushed) appears on screen.
OK -- REPLACE DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the fuel lid opening switch.

(b) Measure the resistance of the switch connector.
Standard resistance:

NG -- REPLACE LUGGAGE DOOR OPENER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LUGGAGE DOOR OPENER SWITCH - DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the L1 switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the D5 ECU connector.

NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
