Fuel Lid Opener Motor Circuit
DESCRIPTION
The circuit opens the fuel lid when the ECU sends signals to the fuel lid opener motor.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR)
(a) Select the ACTIVE TEST, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check the fuel lid opener motor.
Luggage room junction block ECU
OK:
Fuel lid opener motor opens fuel lid.
OK -- REPLACE LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK
NG -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT FUSE (FUEL OPN)
(a) Remove the FUEL OPN fuse from the luggage room junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY (FUEL LID OPENER MOTOR)
(a) Check the operation of the motor.
(1) Apply battery voltage to the motor and check the operation of the motor.
OK:
(b) Measure the shaft strokes.
Standard stroke:
10.3 mm (0.406 in.) or more
NG -- REPLACE FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ECU - BATTERY)
(a) Disconnect the 6L junction block connector.
(b) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (FUEL LID LOCK CONTROL CABLE - LUGGAGE ROOM JUNCTION BLOCK ECU AND BODY GROUND)
(a) Disconnect the F14 cable connector.
(b) Disconnect the 6F junction block connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
