Radio Receiver Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to the radio receiver.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (RADIO NO. 1, RADIO NO. 2, AM1)
(a) Remove the RADIO NO. 1 fuse from the engine room No. 1 relay block.
(b) Remove the RADIO NO. 2 fuse from the passenger side junction block.
(c) Remove the AM1 fuse from the driver side junction block.
(d) Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (RADIO RECEIVER - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the R3 receiver connector.
(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.
Standard voltage:





Standard resistance





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
