Reverse Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The navigation ECU receives the reverse signal from the passenger side junction block ECU and information about the GPS antenna, and then adjusts the vehicle position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU




(a) Measure the resistance and of the ECU connector.
Standard voltage:






NG -- REPLACE PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NAVIGATION ECU - PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ECU)




(a) Disconnect the N3 and P5 ECU connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE NAVIGATION ECU
