WIRING DIAGRAM





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT FUSE (ABS-IG, AM1)
(a) Remove the ABS-IG and AM1 fuses from the driver side junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the fuses.
Standard resistance:
Below 1 Ohms
NG -- REPLACE FUSE
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. INSPECT BATTERY
(a) Check the battery voltage.
Standard voltage:
11 to 14 V

C -- RECHARGE OR REPLACE BATTERY
B -- INSPECT IGNITION RELAY NO. 1
A -- Continue to next step.
3. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (IG VOLTAGE)
(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the IG voltage.

B -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
A -- Continue to next step.
4. INSPECT IGNITION RELAY NO. 1




(a) Remove the IG1 relay from the driver side junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance of the relay.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPLACE IGNITION RELAY NO. 1
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)




(a) Disconnect the S5, S7 and S8 ECU connectors.
(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.
(c) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard voltage:





(d) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU
