DTC B2795 - Unmatched Key Code

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when a key with a key code that has not been registered in the transponder key ECU is inserted into the ignition key cylinder.






INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. REREGISTER KEY
(a) Clear the DTC Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Reregister the key (which caused this DTC to be output) with the transponder key ECU Engine Immobilizer System.
(c) Insert the same key into the ignition key cylinder.
(d) Reregister the key and insert this key into the ignition key cylinder. Check that the engine starts with the key.
OK:
Engine starts.
NG -- REPLACE KEY
OK -- END
