DTC B1222 - Driver Side Door Lock Switch Circuit Malfunction
DESCRIPTION
This DTC will be output when the driver's door unlock switch (for key operation) of the power window regulator master switch is on.
WIRING DIAGRAM
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the power window regulator master switch.
(b) Measure the resistance of the switch.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (MASTER SWITCH - ECU)
(a) Disconnect the P14 switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the D17 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the driver side door lock.
(b) Apply battery voltage to the door lock and check operation of the door lock motor.
OK :
(c) Measure the resistance of the position switch.
Standard resistance:
(d) Measure the resistance of the door lock and unlock switch.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE FRONT DOOR WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY LH
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (DOOR LOCK - ECU)
(a) Disconnect the D12 lock connector.
(b) Disconnect the D18 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK FRONT DOOR ECU LH
