Only Front Switch cannot Operate Right and Left Door Sunshade
DESCRIPTION
A rear door sunshade switch signal is sent from the No. 2 console switch to the outer mirror switch assembly through LIN communication. The outer mirror switch then sends the signal to the rear door ECUs through CAN communication, and the rear curtains operate.

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Clear the DTC Rear Door Sunshade System.
(b) Check for DTC Rear Door Sunshade System.
Result
C -- GO TO LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
B -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A -- Continue to next step.
2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DOOR SUNSHADE SWITCH)
(a) Select the item below in the Data List, and read its value displayed on the Techstream to check the rear door sunshade switch.
Center Console Switch
OK:
Rear curtains are operated normally.
NG -- INSPECT NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH
OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
3. INSPECT NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH
(a) Disconnect the No. 2 console switch connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPLACE NO. 2 CONSOLE SWITCH
OK -- REPLACE NO. 1 CONSOLE SWITCH
