SUSPENSION: FRONT STABILIZER BAR (for AWD): INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION
HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.
1. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BUSH
(a) Install the 2 front No. 1 stabilizer bar bushes outside of the bush stoppers on the front stabilizer bar as shown in the illustration.
NOTE:
Make sure to face the front No. 1 stabilizer bar bush's seam to the lower rear of the vehicle.
2. TEMPORARILY INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER BAR
(a) Temporarily install the front stabilizer bar and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH and RH with the 4 bolts in the direction shown in the illustration.
3. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH
(a) Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 95 Nm (969 kgf-cm, 70 ft-lbf)
(b) Install the wire harness bracket with the bolt.
Torque: 22 Nm (224 kgf-cm, 16 ft-lbf)
4. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH
(a) Install the front No. 1 stabilizer bracket RH with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 95 Nm (969 kgf-cm, 70 ft-lbf)
5. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Install the front stabilizer link with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 85 Nm (867 kgf-cm, 63 ft-lbf)
HINT: If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.
6. INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Install the RH side following the same procedures as the LH side.
7. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION MEMBER PROTECTOR Installation
8. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Service and Repair
9. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD LH Installation
10. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD RH Installation
11. INSTALL NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER Installation
12. INSTALL FRONT CENTER FLOOR COVER Installation
