SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH
(a) Remove the front seat outer belt Removal.
3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BELT RETRACTOR COVER LH





(a) Disengage the claw and remove the front seat belt retractor cover from the body.
4. REMOVE SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the bolt and side airbag sensor from the body.
(b) Disconnect the connector.
