Removal








PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: CLEARANCE WARNING ECU (W/O Advanced Parking Guidance System): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Removal
2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
NOTE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal
4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH Removal
5. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL LOWER Removal
7. REMOVE NO.2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LOWER Removal
8. REMOVE NO. 2 CLUSTER MOULDING Removal
9. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY Removal
10. REMOVE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU Removal
11. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU WITH BRACKET
(a) Disconnect the clearance warning ECU connectors.
NOTE:
Do not forcibly disconnect the connector.





(b) Remove the bolt, nut and ECU with bracket.
12. REMOVE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU





(a) Remove the nut and clearance warning ECU from the bracket.
- Avoid any impact to the clearance warning ECU.
- Do not drop the ECU. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
