INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. CHECK AUDIO SYSTEM
(a) Check if the audio system can receive satellite radio broadcasts.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER AND DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY)




(a) Disconnect the L53 receiver connector.
(b) Disconnect the L62 display connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - SATELLITE RADIO TUNER)




(a) Disconnect the L53 receiver connector.
(b) Disconnect the R27 tuner connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SATELLITE RADIO TUNER - DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION ASSEMBLY)




(a) Disconnect the R29 tuner connector.
(b) Disconnect the L62 display connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
