PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DISC PLAYER
(a) Check if the disc player is equipped on the vehicle.

B -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - DISC PLAYER)
A -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)
(a) Disconnect the L56 receiver connector.
(b) Disconnect the R30 controller connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance::
Result
B -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - TELEVISION DISPLAY)
A -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER - DISC PLAYER)
(a) Disconnect the L56 receiver connector.
(b) Disconnect the R16 player connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DISC PLAYER - MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER)
(a) Disconnect the R16 player connector.
(b) Disconnect the R30 controller connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MULTI-DISPLAY CONTROLLER - TELEVISION DISPLAY)
(a) Disconnect the R30 controller connector.
(b) Disconnect the R19 display connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
