CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: MAYDAY ECU: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION
HINT: A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart Standard Bolt - Specified Torque For Standard Bolts.





1. INSTALL MOBILE PHONE BRACKET
(a) Install the 2 mobile phone brackets with the 4 bolts.
2. INSTALL MAYDAY ECU





(a) Install the ECU with the nut.
(b) Connect the 4 connectors.
(c) Attach the 2 clamps.
3. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY LH Installation
4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH Installation
5. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE Installation
6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER FRONT Installation
7. INSTALL NO. 2 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (W/O Rear Cooler) Installation
8. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY Installation
9. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD LH Installation
10. INSTALL DECK TRIM SIDE BOARD RH Installation
11. INSTALL ROPE HOOK Installation
12. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Installation
13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY Installation
14. INSTALL NO. 1 COOLER COVER Installation
15. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
16. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH Installation
17. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
(a) Perform initialization Repair Instruction - Initialization.
NOTE:
Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

18. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
(a) Check the SRS warning light Diagnosis System.
19. PERFORM REGISTRATION
(a) Perform registration Programming and Relearning.
NOTE:
When replacing the mayday battery or the mayday ECU assembly (together with mayday battery), perform registration.
