DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU sends and receives signals from the ECM, power steering ECU, steering control ECU, steering angle sensor, and yaw rate and acceleration sensor via the CAN communication system.

(a) Check for DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

HINT: The CAN communication system must be normal when troubleshooting the sensor DTCs (for ABS, VSC and electronically controlled brake system).
