DTC 45-43 - DVD-ROM Abnormal

DESCRIPTION





INSPECTION PROCEDURE
HINT: After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs Navigation System (for HDD).

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK IF PROPER DISC IS INSERTED
(a) Make sure that the DVD is a video DVD or a CD with an MP3 or WMA file, and that it is not deformed, flawed, stained, burred, or otherwise defective.
OK:
Normal disc

HINT:
- Translucent or uniquely-shaped DVDs or CDs cannot be played.

NG -- DISC IS FAULTY
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK
(a) Replace the disc and recheck.
(1) Replace the disc with a normal one.
(2) Clear the DTCs Navigation System (for HDD).
(3) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK:
Malfunction disappears.
NG -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
OK -- END
