DTC 2-3 - Digital Signal Processor Communication Error

DTC 2-4 - GPS Communication Error

DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are output when a communication error occurs between the CPU and each interface in the mayday ECU.










INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. RESET MAYDAY ECU
(a) Exit diagnosis mode and wait for 10 seconds.
NOTE:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for 10 minutes.
(c) Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for 10 seconds.
(d) Turn the engine switch on (IG), and then check for the current DTC and historic DTC again Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.

B -- CLEAR HISTORIC DTC
A -- REPLACE MAYDAY ECU TOGETHER WITH MAYDAY BATTERY AND THEN PERFORM REGISTRATION
