DTC C1632/5C-60 - APGS RH Sensor Freeze

DESCRIPTION

If the front side sensor is operating (shift lever is on R, or shift lever is not on P or R and vehicle is not stopped) and the advanced parking guidance sensor becomes frozen, or ice, snow or mud attaches to it, this DTC is output.
NOTE:
If the DTC is output after repairs, turn the engine switch on (IG) and move the shift lever to R. Then clear the DTC.
HINT: If "!Clean Park Sonar" is displayed, wipe the dirty area.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.

C -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK
B -- GO TO DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART Advanced Parking Guidance System
A -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK ULTRASONIC SENSOR
(a) Check if mud, ice, snow or other foreign matter is attached to the sensor.
OK:
No foreign matter on sensor
NG -- CLEAN ULTRASONIC SENSOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. REPLACE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (FRONT RIGHT SIDE SENSOR)




(a) Replace the ultrasonic sensor Removal with a normally functioning sensor.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.

4. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Clear the DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
(b) Check for DTCs Advanced Parking Guidance System.
