CLUTCH: CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY





(a) Temporarily tighten the clutch release cylinder with the 2 bolts.
2. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY





(a) Temporarily tighten the clutch accumulator with the 3 bolts.
3. CONNECT CLUTCH LINE





(a) Using SST, connect the clutch line.
SST: 09023-00101
Torque: 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)
HINT:
Use a torque wrench with a fulcrum length of 300 mm (11.81 in.).

4. FULLY TIGHTEN CLUTCH RELEASE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY





(a) Fully tighten the clutch release cylinder with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
5. FULLY TIGHTEN CLUTCH ACCUMULATOR ASSEMBLY





(a) Fully tighten the clutch accumulator with the 3 bolts.
Torque: 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft-lbf)
6. BLEED CLUTCH LINE
(a) Fill the brake reservoir with the brake fluid and bleed the clutch system Procedures.
Torque: 11 Nm (110 kgf-cm, 8 ft-lbf)
7. CHECK FOR BRAKE FLUID LEAKAGE
(a) Check for leakage in the clutch system.
8. INSPECT BRAKE FLUID LEVEL IN RESERVOIR
