PARK ASSIST / MONITORING: ULTRASONIC SENSOR: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal
2. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Removal
3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal
4. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Remove the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
(c) Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor from the front bumper.
5. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER
6. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH
7. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH
8. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY Removal
9. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal
10. REMOVE ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY Removal
11. REMOVE ROPE HOOK Removal
12. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal
13. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK Removal
14. REMOVE SIDE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER Removal
15. DISCONNECT LUGGAGE ROOM WIRE Removal
16. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PLATE Removal
17. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY Removal
18. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Remove the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
(c) Remove the No. 2 ultrasonic sensor from the rear bumper.
19. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR
(a) Disconnect the sensor connector.





(b) Remove the sensor retainer as shown in the illustration.
(c) Remove the No. 1 ultrasonic sensor from the rear bumper.
