If an ECM that is incompatible with the engine immobilizer system is installed, the ECM stores this DTC.

1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT
(a) Clear the DTCs Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes.
(b) Recheck for DTCs.
